I'm not one to jump the gun on most things beyond games like Smash, Pokemon, Zelda, and Mario since I expect them to do well. I've never assumed anything for consoles either. For me, let the Switch prove itself in Janauary before we come crashing down on Nintendo. How efficient can the main concept work? What other features will it have? What games will we see, what will they look like, and how will they work on Switch? Let them show and not have others tell. Whether a rumor is right or wrong, it's all on execution.
