Pretty much like every game with that treats your thumb as a analog stick. It works, but is clumsy to play. With only one touch input, it's not as intuitive as a controller in battle. I usually just auto battle all of the random encounters because I don't lose as much HP this way.

I stopped playing it around 3 or 4 hours in.
