My cat, pictured in my avatar, is currently at the vet. I don't exclusively own her as I live with my family still, but I am the one who took her to the vet today. She's not very old, roughly 3 1/2-4 years old. Last night, she had started having seizures. She had several since then and is being observed over night and put on anti-seizure medication.
Anyone else have pets, maybe a cat? Ever go through something similar?
UPDATE: I have taken the cat back from the vet (apparently they aren't keeping her over night, but I was given medication). When I arrived to pick her up, shortly before I got there she was having another seizure and they were monitoring her for a little while longer as I waited to pick her up. Apparently the vet thinks it could either be epilepsy or FIP in her brain. I was instructed to give her two doses of valium, one at 10PM and one at midnight. I'll be having to take her back in first thing in the morning tomorrow.
