I'm sorry, but I have a hard time understanding what you said. Your first sentence seems to contradict what you said before, because now you're saying that the perpetrators are religious, when you just said beforehand that they were atheists. The point that I was making with moral beliefs is that atheism is a generic term, unlike say Christianity and Islam which are specific religious beliefs, so other than the fact that they have don't believe in God nothing else can be deduced.
