What's causing me pause is everything that doesnt make sense in episode 7. The way the galaxy is in, the planet sized weapon that no one saw, the time and space bending magic beam of destruction and how classic characters got protrayed as useless post movies. The new characters had nothing of interesting aswell. Angry teen kylo thinks dark side is cooler and kills father... because? Who the eff cares right? Good character development right there.
Fynn who is a normal person storm trooper... because they stopped making clones of bobba fett? Lets just roll with it. First order empire coming out of? Lets just roll with it!
Did i mention how the whole plot is a rip of episode 4?
Episode 7 is a complete shit movie. Worst SW ever. It drops you in and expects you to roll with it. If it was a new franchise, sure, we can give them the benefit of the doubt. Star wars? Completely unnaceptable. And yes, i even enjoyed episode 1 more than episode 7.
Rogue one? Actually added to the continuity without asking you to just roll with it and shitting all over science fiction. I will take more rogue one's over episode 7's any day. At least i can leave the cinema with a smile with rogue ones.
