Yup, its bad for sony beacsue they are not winning well enough. In one territory. 

Sony's saving grave is that they are selking well in two other major territories. They can't even maintain a lead of over 1M in NA over the XB1. Surely, this is very bad for sony. Just wait, MS has gained momentum now, in two or three years of momentum building sales like these and winning by around 50-100k/month, they will catch up and maybe even pass the PS4 in NA.

But Sony has dropped the ball. With both the Slim and the Pro. They could've easily outsold MS in the NA with a much better margin than they are doing now if they hadn't screwed up with the Slim and the Pro. That certainly qualifies as dropping the ball. Even if it's not a disaster.
