I'm probably not affected. The chances are that they got my data as well, but I didn't have much on Yahoo, and long since I've switched to using a password manager to have a different password for every single service I use.

I haven't changed my PW yet, and I know that I have the same PW for Yahoo as I have for other services, but I ask myself, what on earth would hackers do with my Youtube account or Gmail account or some forum accounts? I doubt they have any interest in wasting time on that.

Remember how password resets work? A link gets sent to your email address. Thus anyone having access to your email address has access to every single service where you're using that email address, unless you're also using two-factor authentication - and I'd still be worried even if I was using two-factor authentication. Perhaps you like you Facebook account if you have, or maybe your Steam account with potentially hundreds of games worth a good amount of money? Maybe this isn't an issue for you, but it is for a lot of people.
