As I'm playing ZombiU at the moment for the first time and entering the Buckingham Palace, I somehow thought of that other Wii U horror game, Fatal Frame V. I like both games very much, honestly. But I was wondering which one I like more than the other, and the answer is not that easy. While they only share the genre, they couldn't be any more different. So many contrasts!
- Eastern horror versus western horror
- Ghosts versus Zombies
- Slow and creepy versus fast and shocking
- Third person view versus first person view
- Different main colors: black and orange versus green.
- The main element of uncomfortability the player is supposed to get is water in FFV, while it's chaos and destruction in ZombiU
- Very low sales that are impossible to analyse due to an eshop release versus a million seller
- Three different main characters with intertwining plots versus zero because you play random avatars
For those of you who happen to have played both. Which one do you like more?
