Sorry I don't keep up to date on these things. It's been revised to 150 million sales now.

$1.5 Billion in revenue is still fantastic though.

Eventually, it will get there, but we are talking years & years after release.

It's true that a lot of money is spent on mobile games but most of these games play on different chords. They collect money from players differently, and they bring players back the way successful MMOs on PC do.

This Mario is just different. People shouldn't expect PoGo-level of craze... and that's not a problem. Nintendo is experimenting afterall.
