sure there is, if nobody buys the games and if we are being real, they havent really been buying them on Ninty home consoles. COD did ok on Wii but its online numbers never reached close to those of the other versions

They've never had a compelling reason to. Now they might. Like I get what you're saying, but people didn't Wii get COD because of motion controls and Gen 6 graphics.

The Switch has a standard controller lay out, and is supposed to be powerful enough to have graphics that aren't exclipsed by the PS4/XBO. There aren't things actively going against it like there were with Wii and Wii U. It seems like much more of a PS2<<GCN<XB situation this time around power-wise, only the PS2 in this example doubles as a portable.
