Pokemon has just celebrated its 20th anniversary as a franchise. Next year it'll continue to celebrate, this time for the 20th anniversary of the long running anime. So to celebrate...we're going back to the beginning.

Apparently the name of the movie is fitting, Pokémon: I Choose You!
What do you guys think? Personally it's an interesting route they're taking to celebrate the anniversary. It's too bad we won't see a Sun and Moon movie next year but since this is the 20th anniversary, they probably wanted to go the route they chose. This is more likely a remake/reimagining of the first episode at least. With the Sugimori artwork, will it be animated in the vain of Origins/Generations?
