think people should be able to voice any opinion on things they care about, but it should be praise, constructive criticism, feedback and be told in a genuine manner and allow for discussion. Also if they don't have factual knowledge about something that's factual they should shut up and if they've made a mistake they should correct themselves.

Most gamers on youtube and IGN are anything but this. They complain about every little thing, are often factually wrong about technical sides of games, do not accept a different opinion and talk in a way that no one can take them and their opinion seriously. Also blindly defending something and bashing on another mostly when it comes to platforms and exclusive games.

When you give your opinion you should accept that others will also give their opinions and they would not be the same. The discussion should be civil. However I see gamers acting like little kids when it comes to discussing anything so I wonder if statistics saying that the average gamer is 30 year old are completely wrong.

Also I hate the bandwagon mentality of gamers and their view that critical acclaim is all that matters. Also PC gamers on youtube and facebook are the worst of the bunch. Absolutely intolerable and that is coming from someone who does play on a PC.
