Yeah, for sure SE would have prefered XIII-esque sales. Though were the XIII sales worth it when you consider the damage it did to the FF brand? In that sense, if XV regains some of the faith lost in the FF brand, the trade off might be prefered. However, due to its long development cycle, I'd imagine they would have liked a bigger boost than this.

We'll know when XVI comes out.
