As far as drop off it is the same. But as far as overall sales it is worse.

FFXIII sold 1.312.742 units less the second week.
FFXV sold 610.678 units less the second week. (That's not counting Xbox One or digital, don't know the numbers.)

While both drop offs are 88%, the drop off in terms of units is much larger for XIII.
But that's also related to overall lower sales for XV. Could also be better word of mouth from people who had played, or finished the game by the second week. For overall sales its also an improvement, but they will no doubt remain significantly lower than XIII. Compared to the other two FF XIII games though, XV is a big step up. But no doubt SE would have wanted an even bigger step up.

The total sales have dropped more sure, but both times XIII outsold XV.
