Switch won't have a userbase of 0 for long, it will over take the PS4 very quickly.
Pokemon, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Mario, Dragon Quest XI, Monster Hunter, on one platform ... a platform that is a portable Nintendo system ... in Japan.
You do the math.
Even for all the bruhaha over the decline of the mobile market, *in Japan* the 3DS is going to become the 3rd highest selling system ever in Japanese history, overtaking the Playstation 2, and in fact selling more than any home console in Japanese history, better than any Playstation, or Famicom or Super Famicom and almost double the Wii in Japan. The only systems that have sold more than the 3DS in Japan are the original DS and the Game Boy + Game Boy Color which had like 11 years to sell.
Don't confuse the Western market trends for Japan, Japan is a very different place.
