a. It's Blizzard, almost everything they make is at least moderately successful

b. The pre-release reception was extremely positive. There were tons of views on youtube trailers. Closed beta keys were more sought after than any previous game ever, so much so that the community dubbed themselves Onlywatch because they could only watch let's plays and twitch streams of those in the beta instead of being able to play it themselves.

I knew Overwatch would be a huge success all along.

Not to mention how popular its content was on pornhub and such sites around the time of release, people clearly loved everything about the game!

And yeah like you said, Blizzard game, those are pretty much sure fire going to sell a good number, blizzard doesn't have a lot of games, but the ones it has, it handles right.
