So Nintendo releases the New 3Ds, PlayStation releases the Pro and Microsoft "extending" the generation by releasing the Scorpio.
Is it fair to count all the sales for different models into the same basket?
I don't know what to say honestly, the PS2 did it without the need to do middle gen hardware upgrades as far as I know.
