Does anyone here have an idea as to why Nintendo hasn't lift their NDA for 3rd party games on the Switch? I mean, they're just basically giving devs less than three months to advertise their games. And maybe three months is actually fine, but wouldnt five or six be better? And the way I see it, everytime a developer even mentions the Switch that becomes free advertisament for the system. I mean, from a marketing standpoint I can only see benefits here.
PS: This is the first time that I follow a console launch this closely, so I don't know if this the norm. Has always been like that with the other consoles? (I guess that makes it two questions) |
Switch had just initial reveal, full reveal is on 12. January, and NIntendo is holding back all games announcements for that live full reveal event.

Of Course not, we actually have only few games announcements, and we have huge list of Switch partners and supporters that are confirmed but they said they will announce games later (almost certain 12. January). And its not only about 3rd party games, Nintendo also holding their games announcements also, dont forget Nintendo confirmed only Zelda BotW for Switch for now.
