Because there is a difference comparing components vs the console.

PS4 and XboxOne have the same amount of RAM (8GB) and use the same amount on games (5GB) but PS4s RAM is a better component. Kind of an opposite comparison and yes I agree most people would be referring to how it is being implemented in NS. But I have a breakdown thread and I look at it at component level and overall.

Sorry to come across nitpicky and silly. It is interesting to highlight that Nintendo could match/be better depending on battery/heat dissipation obsticals.
