Let's just say that if I hadn't forcefully turned on the Japanese voice track and had a quick look at the box I wouldn't know it's a Japanese game, let alone a Final Fantasy one.
It's a worse Far Cry 3 with FF lingo modded in.
Just watch Kingsglaive and you will have a better and more FF experience and also save a lot of time.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
