Mainline Final Fantasy games would have sold well on the 3DS and they would have been able to release 3 or more mainline entries if they wanted to. We have Yokai Watch 1-3, Pokémon X/Y, Pokémon ORAS and Pokémon Sun/Moon and god knows how many Monster Hunter games on the 3DS. All sold incredibly well. And the development budgets of all these games combined probably doesn't match the development budget of FF XV alone. Wake up to the harsh reality. |
We know it's UK launch was below Final Fantasy XIII as well.
Agreed that Square-Enix should made a 3DS Final Fantasy. It could've had Final Fantasy X tier graphics ... that's good enough.
Switch though ... Switch will be able to handle just about any style they can throw at it.
