Well the alarm as a whole should be about how the Japanese cultured games may not exists in the near future, because the western markets are to interested in specs and visuals! This is driving the mainstream into thinking that everyone wants this focus in their games first...
At one point in history Japanese gaming stood for paramount gameplay experiences! The best of everything came out of Japan and I think the HD generation ruined most of these companies focus. Instead of just bringing amazing game play, it's as if they got lost in the rat race of making games look good.
