If you can't make a game fit on 32GB storage IMO (you can even go a little over thanks to today having DLC, so you could offload 8GB more say if it was really a big deal) ... you've massively fucked up somewhere. There's a lot of bloat and nonsense in today's games, time to program more efficiently.

This is hardly the days of the N64 where a N64 cartridge could only store 1/20th of a CD-ROM.

It doesn't matter what you think though. The fact is that games ARE that bloated, and thanks to PS4 and XBO, devs don't have to care. With Switch, storage is assumed to have a massive bottleneck, and that's a huge issue for third party support, no matter who's fault it is. It's Nintendo's job to accommodate developers, not the other way around.

And 32GB is not the rumored standard card size on the Switch: 16GB is. That means that 32GB cards will be more expensive and 64GB even more expensive still, which was the EXACT issue the N64 had.

N64 would've won its generation and retained most of its third party support if it had 256MB and 512MB cartridges that cost $2-$3 a pop to manufacture.

Anyways if Japanese devs want to bitch about only 32GB + the option to off-load another 4-8GB to downloads, lets see how they feel about a future where they can only make games based on Apple's iOS limit.
