Salt from who?

Yep, 1M digital sales for X1 in UK, it actually outsold PS4 version 9:1 when digital is accounted for.

A lot of users are upset because all the main featured ff games will be on Xbox pretty much. Just like when they were upset with msg being on Xbox. Selling around 1 million/ over a million FW is a huge deal for square.

If you are talking about FF XIII at the time of the reveal yes, then if you are talking about the damping of PS3 version to have less difference with X360 yes. But talking about today nope it isn't like that.

And X1 version is closer to 500k than to 1M on FW, it's a good amount of money but no where what you can say a success.

Eight years ago...  Are you really that petty?

I remember the outrage and people here going crazy. I remember there was Sony fans who wanted to commit suicide over this. People here right now are trying to state that ff15 was a wasted effort on Xbox one which isn't true. Selling over a million in fw week is an achievement only a few games to get accomplish and it help ff15 to be the most successful ff game to date.

How would you remember people going crazy on VGC in 2008?

You'll probably ignore the numbers on WW and pretend UK 4:1 is WW just to inflate the numbers?

But yes, it's almost a wasted effort.

Gameplay over graphics every day and any day. Also, the for will approve on Xbox Scorpio easily and be more stable.

Lets play all games in 480p then, so they can all run at a smooth 60fps?

Obviously there's a balance between visuals and framerate that needs to be considered. FFXV is a very beautiful game, so having a sharper game in order to properly enjoy the scenery is of utmost value as well. Digital Foundry called the Xbox One version "Increadibly blurry at times." And this is a game people go out and buy an HDR TV for specifically.
Regarding the frame pacing on PS4 and Pro, it's something Digital Foundry suspect can be fixed with a patch to V-sync. We'll see.

Yep, that is another point Snoopy is eager on ignore... X1 doesn't run the game better than PS4, it just doesn't have the frame pacing error in it.

Hardly surprising..

not to forget the PS4 userbase is a lot larger

This is about UK where the userbases are almost par to par.

Final Fantasy 15 PS4 sales stomp all over the Xbox One version

Final Fantasy 15 sold through the lion’s share of copies on the PlayStation 4 following its debut last week, according to data obtained by GfK Chart-Track.

.....

To be more specific, almost four in every five copies of the JRPG sold in the U.K. last week were on Sony’s flagship console, with the PS4 version accounting for 79 percent of physical sales of Final Fantasy 15 at launch. By comparison, the Xbox One edition scooped just 21 percent of all copies sold.

As a result of the game’s success on PS4, Final Fantasy 15 became the best-selling videogame on Sony’s current-generation machine last week. For Xbox One, the title only managed sixth place behind Forza Horizon 3, FIFA 17, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Minecraft: Xbox Edition, and Battlefield 1.

When you consider that PS4 outsells the Xbox One is all but the US and FF 15 is a Japanese game, it makes perfect sense. Not to mention having a much higher install base.

PS4 outsell X1 in US as well. But these numbers is about UK where the userbases are quite close.

Don't understand why snoopy thought that if ff15 had a 20% attach ratio in Uk , then that means the same ratio everywhere else. If the xb1 version got 20% attach ratio in a country where the install base is close to each other, I can't imagine the attach ratio in germany, italy and rest of europe, not to mention japan. That being said, it might sell 500k-1m LTD which could be enough to justify the port.

You do understand, because that makes X1 numbers higher.

It does justify a port, but doesn't justify any specific effort.
