Zelda Artist: Wind Waker 2 was cancelled in favor of Twilight Princess

This is interesting new info on the change from another Wind Waker to Twilight Princess. I thought a major reason was because to the lackluster sales in the West due to the audience not liking the cartoony art style, which pushed towards a more realistic Zelda game, to appeal to the western audience. That's what I heard some time ago.
