Also, with regards to the Switch trailer with the basketball scene, it is common etiquette at public basketball courts to play on rotation so that each group of people can use the court. The point of that scene was that rather than whip out your phones and play a crappy mobile game or just twiddle your thumbs until it's your turn again, you could whip out the Switch to play something more substantial (and yes, a lot of people who play sports for fun like sports games). If you look closely in the trailer, you can see another group of people who called next take the court while the group the trailer fovuses on takes a break. |
While it's good to exercise lateral thinking, and I found your explanation of the basketball scene somewhat acceptable, I'm dying to hear your explanation about some woman crashing some rooftop party to play Mario.
