In that case I'm fine with it, and this should actually be enforced. I was going to say I'm OK with veils if they have proper religious basis, but if that's not the case, they should be disallowed. I don't think they're allowed for others either, so no other group should be allowed them without a very good reason either. For this, I consider religious reasons good enough, but like you said, no religious foundation here for that.
