I could go to Amazon right now and find plenty of Blurays over $20. It isn't exactly difficult. Just check out the new release category. The fact that you mostly buy blurays a few months to a year or more after release doesn't mean they came to the store priced sub-$20 on release day.

you dont know when i buy blurays so lets not assume. i buy new movie releases often. Xmen apocalypse is a fairly recent movie and I payed 20 bucks for that. And that was from Target. Amazon is its own beast and even then they have that same movie for 20. To be clear I am talking single movies, not something like a Game of Thrones box set, which is expensive
