I think reviewers dropped the ball with GTA 4, just goes to show how much hype can influence game scores.
Reviewers were too reluctant to deduct points for it's major flaws (driving mechanics and gameplay in general, Niko has terrible control, shooting is mediocre at best). Just because the game world was so big.
I've played through and beat the entire game, all pidgeons, all jumps, all side missions, everything. The game gets an 8.9 / 10 from me. It's great fun, but doesn't really do anything different from previous GTA's other then having less content, worse driving, and better graphics.
I really laugh at all the people who think GTA 4 is better simply because it has more reviews. i can play that game too.
Metroid Prime has 91 reviews and is STILL in top 10, better than GTA 4 imo it has 20 more reviews than 360 and 40 more than PS3.
Also, OoT and Mario Galaxy have ZERO scores below 90%, both versions of GTA have multiple scores below 90%. Therefore galaxy and OoT are automatically better.
