Currently, I'm caught up with the Walking Dead, and honestly, I'm sick of Negan.  Not sick as in "He's the eviliest character in the Walking Dead. What's Rick and his jerk off crew are going to do about it?" It's more like "I'm sick and tired of seeing this asshole."  I'm not going to psychoanalyze or nerd out as to why I think so.  And I'm trying to keep an open mind as to the writiers trying to flesh out this character.  But the story is moving too slow, and the more I see Negan the more I think "This is stupid."  It's like last night, Carl snuck into Negan's camp and killed two of his guy when he could have easily have shot Negan's head off.  Pretty much with the exception of the deaths at the beginning, the entire half season has been too much of a chain jerker.  It's introducing new elements, but with so much focus on Negan it make those elements too randon a this point.  I haven't felt like this about the series since the first half of the second season.  This makes me not want to anticipate and watch the second half of this season.

They are actually staying fairly close to the comics but there's still deviations. That guy (can't spoiler tag on my phone...or maybe I can and I'm lazy) ran out of bullets and the other guy wasn't even there in the comics to get shot.

The guy that portrays Negan does an okay job but he's nowhere near an accurate representation of the comics Negan, even when he is almost word for word.

I started skipping episodes last season and even a couple this season but if the story goes where it's supposed to go, it's going to be worth it. Changes and all.
