@Rolstoppable - Amen. Better yet, let's just forget that word "hardcore." I hate it; it's so warped now. I'm a hardcore gamer 'cuz I play games all the time, a lot of them, and many different types of them. Some kid who has only ever played Gears of War or Resistance is not hardcore solely by virtue of the fact that they've played those games. Hardcore gamers, to me, are those that can get beyond a certain art style to appreciate good gameplay, and who thirst for new/interesting/varied game experiences.
Hell, I'm a hardcore gamer because I can get over myself enough to enjoy a casual game if it's a good one.
Instead of "hardcore" and "casual", let's try categorizing games by "fun" and "not-fun," "original" and "seen it."

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.
