Nintendo is looking interesting again for the first time in almost a decade..

Agree. I much prefer the Wii U/3DS combo more than I did Wii/DS. I also agree with Turkish, that over representation of Wii U ports is kind of concerning me. It's affected my Decision to buy a Switch at launch and take a wait and see approach. the thing is, I'd love to start a console with games we aleady know are great. Not only are they improvements over their mobile counterparts(mk7, no splatoon on mobile, etc), but the people who avoided the Wii U now have solid titles to start with.

Will people who avoided Wii U buy the Switch though??? Those great Wii U games were not enough to get people to buy one. I think Switch will sell better probably due to it being portable, but how much better is the question. Nintendo prolonging the 3DS for a while longer is a very good move, at least they have a contingency plan to release another handheld in the DS family which I still believe is a strong brand.
