Fair points. Granted yes it makes sense to some degree seeing as how Bunchanumbers said his brothers will be upgrading. But I LOVE GIGGS can you actually be sure and assume that people are still waiting to upgrade just because they bought the previous console? Because if that's the case then couldn't you say the same for the PS4 since the PS3 sold roughly 90million as well? Shouldn't the PS3 have sold more than 90million since the PS2 sold +150million? Shouldn't the Wii U have sold a ton ton more because the Wii sold 100million? Last gens number should never reflects on current gens, that's just how it is. But if that's how MS sees it then that sounds more like a poor assumtion rather than some solid data. |
Of course I can't say that all of them will upgrade, especially since I am the guy who says that video game industry inflated last generation and the total sales of home consoles will drop from 270-300 million to less than 200 million.
I was just saying that there are tens of millions of X360 owners who haven't upgraded yet and you shouldn't question that. Whether they will upgrade and what console will they choose is another question. And I think that is the "tepping point" they mean, Xbox One is a way better option than it was two years ago, in customers mind.
