2) You people weren't bitching when MSony did this for 100% of their games for the first couple years of this gen. Every single big game of PS360 was new-gen-ified and every single game launched in the first two years (maybe 1.5?) was a game built on last-gen middleware and then scaled up. Literally all of these games were just better visuals. No new content, no enhancements... nothing. Here, have this same box I sold you two years ago, but I polished the glossy finish.

NS is getting some launch year greatness. Lots of solid content and most of which we haven't even see yet. 

1) They are direct ports, with a few tweaks and additions here and there. Or let me put it this way if you have difficulty understanding me: They are Wii U games with extras, not new games built from the ground up for Switch.

2) uh yes we gave Sony and MS flak for what seemed like an eternity these last 3 years. I said multiple times how the PS4 line-up is the weakest out of all PS consoles. Also 3rd party games made up for the weak 1st party library on other consoles, a strength Nintendo lacks. It was always said how Nintendo doesn't do this remaster business and how they're always doing new stuff. Turns out they aren't any better, with ~5 (!!!) Wii U ports in the first year they're likely to go down as the worst offender even.

Legit insiders like Laura Kate Dale are questioning how much new stuff there is for those people with a 3DS and Wii U. So yeah, if they have doubts, I have doubts.

I also wonder if Switch will get its own versions of Smash and Mario Kart, especially as Nintendo usually do one per gen. I can't see another version of Smash for a long time seeing as how much sheer effort Sakuri and his team had to put into the Wii U version. Had Wii U been sitting on Xbox one numbers I dont think we would have seen Switch until 2018.
