The PlayStation community is more diverse than Xbox or Nintendo, so it's difficult for it to hit higher averages. Just look at that list: the only thing it's missing is a Sports title, and target audiences range from children to mature adult. You've got action, horror, shooter, racing, adventure, sandbox, platformer...
Xbox and Nintendo, though, are more focused on what they deliver. Nintendo gives us family friendly gold. Xbox gives racing/shooter/bro games. And their audiences know that whatever exclusive comes out, they'll like it because that's what they got that system for.
