Yeah but the world of XCX wasn't interesting 
then again, I'm not a huge XC fan to begin with. Just feels like FF12 with hack and slash mechanics. If people like that, that's fine. But honestly I think the biggest reason the series gets any attention at all is because it's on a Nintendo system XD which tends to lack a lot of the major RPGs on home consoles.
I haven't played FF15 yet, but if it's less empty and has more to do in it than XCX, I'll be happy
