Is this a sign that Final Fantasy is going more western-styled?

Yeah After ffx they wanted to cater to americans and make FF13 a linear Action RPG... ff12 was an exception but the characters seemed rushed and underwhelmed.... I think FFxv wanted to really enforce their 4 main character and get back to having well developed characters.
