If you paid a sub it's not free, don't kid yourself

If I give you $20 for a wallet that has a $100 in it. That is a "free" $80.

If you pay $60 for a service that gives you give over $1000 in games - you can consider that value "free" as well.

Don't kid yourself.

Compare the service to Xbox live gold circa 2005-2010, you pay for online on the ps4, getting 4 games to play is most certainly just a bonus in this case.

It's like any service now though, even humble bundle offers a monthly sub to get a bunch of games, you pay up front and you get random games sent to you, sure they aren't always AAA stuff but at the same time, I know the AAA games which I want to play and have already bought them, I do not know about games like last months Letter Quest, had never heard of the title, was really sucked in and enjoyed the heck out of it, had psn+ not dished out random little indies like that I would miss out on ever playing them, that is why I love psn+'s choice to often go with "smaller" indie games.

Heck they gave out NBA2K16 last year, sure a game with a $60 price tag, still... it's one of the few psn+ titles I didn't even bother downloading, just too much file size for a game I'm confident that I wouldn't like, but because of the massive download it would take to test it out I just never jumped into it at all.
