Assuming Microsoft's comments are correct, there could be more like a 4.8-4.9 million gap by June. The PS3 can then sell 25K less per week, so:

- 125K more for Q3 on average per week, 275K for Q4 on average per week.
- 100K more for Q3 on average per week, 300K for Q4 on average per week.

I think if there's going to be a significant price-cut, it's likely going to be in October.

In any case the PS3 needs Japan to make this happen. Hopefully a game like White Knight Story or The Last Remnant can push PS3 sales this christmas next to just MGS4, Resident Evil 5 if available this year could have a good impact.

A slimline PS3 is probably unlikely to hit this year, I think that's going to have a big impact on Japan, just like Final Fantasy XIII.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
