Assuming a 5.4 million worldwide lead for the 360 by June, some things to note with regard to sales in the 2nd half of the year are usually more than twice of that in the first half and Q4 is more than twice than in Q3.
If the PS3 outsells 150K on average per week in Q3, this would then translate into the gap getting smaller by about 1.8 million. 300k on average per week for Q4 would translate into 3.6 million. Then the install base would be on par by the end of the year.
It's not impossible but that's really a lot, without a game like Final Fantasy this can probably only be achieved with a significant price cut.
