Is Final Fantasy XV a step in the right direction??

It's what Final Fantasy used to be...but not nearly as good. Bravely Default doesn't come anywhere close to games like FF6, 7, 9 or 10 in terms of characters, story, world design, pacing (BD is so shamelessly padded-out) and I'd say even soundtrack. The combat is the only aspect where Bravely Default is better than the games I mentioned before.

For the reasons you listed is why BD is my more regretable 3DS purchase..I even got the CE. ugh...
