It's not that big really. The game isn't open world but regional like XB on Wii but much smaller than that game. . All of that game could fit in Primordia with plenty of  room to spare.

Ehhh, debatable since Just Cause 3 has plenty of destructibility around. In any case, OP questions if Xenoblade Chronicles X has the biggest handmade world this gen, and that has go to Just Cause 3 instead.

 

He should edit it to biggest RPG. Zelda BotW still counts as the first time since Zelda II is the game a RPG essentially.Tho it's still smaller than XCX by 40 Square Kilometers
