They have to ship out early to ensure day 1 delivery but some shops do it early enough that you should get it the game at least 1 day early (I even got Halo MCC 4 days early) and I`d much rather receive and be playing a game a whole day early than have to wait until a download finishes to be able to play |
If you pre-order digital you can download it days, sometimes even weeks before release and play it 00.01 on release day. I've done this with Fifa17, QB and Gears4 already and it's so convenient.
