The secrecy over the sales this long after release is very strange. I expected Nintendo to be bragging like crazy and making sure headlines were posted everywhere as soon as they got first weekend/week figures. Instead all we got was this 10m shipped announcment days before the game came out. There's really nothing impressive about how much was shipped. I have to wonder if sales weren't quite as huge as they expected? I just don't get why they aren't yelling the sales out from the mountaintop. Would certainly help their stock going into Switch's release.
