Despite quoting my post you seem to have completely missed what I'm getting at if you're still trying to bring up the Switch's value which is undetermined as of now, hence why I'm not taking that into consideration and am just going off of history when I say $250 might not be well recieved. The Switch has 0 games confirmed, so if we're to judge it right now then I can only say it isn't worth the dirt on our shoes. Concept is better than 3DS but we don't know the execution, if it'll work well. More power is the only absolute certainty (though also the least important factor imo), but at what cost, size and battery life perhaps? Just gotta wait til the 12th!

Your reply is a bit flawed here as one you say going by history yet the's never been a mainstream device like the Switch to determine that which kind of contradicts you. Secondly the are games confirmed for Switch, Zelda, DQX, DQXI, Sonic, Lego City Undercover and Just Dance and finally the rumoured price point is what the PSP cost when it launched in EU and that platform went on to do very well so going by history that price is not really a problem.

History of handhelds, and really the PSP was $250? That worldwide or just EU, and how did it fair while it was sold at that price? The 3DS still did well for itself also, though it had an early pricecut. My mistake on the games but you get what I mean.

EDIT: Just checked and it was $250 WW and still did well at that price. So fine, I'll rephrase, Nintendo handheld history, specifically the 3DS. :L
