I just think its PS4 that took some sales from what could have been XB1 buys.

Sony price matched their PS4 to the XB1's and they won sales on it.

But isnt that what always happens in console sales.... ever?

There is a finite number of people at anytime that will buy into a given type of device. Sales are sales and a win is a win. When MS were doing their Fire sales in the UK the past couple months no one said anything about cheap or price matching.

Then people were say the XB1 is a better value due to 4K Blu-ray and MS momentum bla bla bla. 

It's still too early to call. But I did suggest something like this could happen. I said in one month PS4 could negate every win XB1 has had this far.
