Simple aint it? Took my 5 seconds to find that and that person called me ignorant. 

And now, I'm actually 100% sure that even Microsoft has more IPs than Nintendo. And both Microsoft and Sony have been in the industry for less time.

That's a better list but I think quite a few of of those games aren't owned by Nintendo, just published. But as of now I think the total would be around 70-80 IPs.

I have never even heard about 95% of those games on Sony's list. If we're going to count "franchises" like Jinx we might as well count every individual Pokémon as a Nintendo franchise. Like seriously. You'd get more people to buy a game revolved around Garbador than that Jinx game Sony published.

Them being obscure games really has nothing to do with Ali_16x is getting at, hes just pointing out that Sony has a higher qauntity of IP.

I dont think anyone is going to try arguing the fact that Nintendo has the overall most well known and popular IP though.
