I think that I'd never play a game like Final Fantasy XV twice. There's far too many games to keep up with. But I certainly couldn't bring myself to not explore and do everything in an RPG either.

I can't treat a first playthrough as a "gimped" playthrough, if I'm going to play the game, then I'm gonna play it.

I played the Witcher 3 on hard and then the difficulty afterwards on the second playthrough once the expansions dropped. I scowered the map with a fine tooth comb but I missed out on a lot of other games in the even of that occurance. It was worth it, playing everything together. I just ran through the game the first time and played a couple side missions. The second playthrough without any blockages between the expansion, was more entertaining. I plan on doing the same thing with Dragon Age on my second playthrough. The problem with these companies is that they always leave some extra DLC or expansion for later. I think final fantasy will be worth playing twice, but at two totally different times. I didnt play the Witcher 3 in the same year.
