Can someone please explain to me why a lot of games are cheaper physically then their digital counter parts on black Friday?

There's a limited amount of physical storage space, and there's very little competition for digital games on consoles. Basically there's a lot of pressure to sell physical copies quickly but not much pressure to do the same with digital copies.
