Yes it can, expect it in mid december! Unless, Nintendo hasn't produced/shipped enough units for the last wii u holidays and they might have not, given their sales forecast! I hope that they decided to exceed it, demand is higher than that.
Their aim is only 800k worldwide, while they have already shipped 560k units prior to holidays...
